Change the color of the transparency grid in Photoshop

If you have a transparent background in Adobe Photoshop, it will be displayed by default as a grey/white tile. There are many cases where you may want to change this.

1. Click on “Edit” and then go to “Preferences”
2. Now choose “Transparency & Gamut”
3. There you can change the color and pattern of the transparent background

Which changes are possible to the transparent background?

Grid size: You can adjust the size of the grid pattern. Available options are “None”, “Small”, “Medium” and “Large”.
Grid Color: You can choose from different presets or create your own color for the background.

Good luck!
