Change default currency in PayPal
1. Login into your PayPal account
2. Click on “Wallet”
3. Add a new currency if you want by choosing “Add a currency”
4. Click on the menu (3 dots) next to the currency and then on “Make Primary”
By making a specific currency your primary one, PayPal will just calculate all the money you have into this currency. The amount you see is just estimated based on the daily exchange rate. If you want to convert all your different currencies into your main one, then check out this article.

I would recommend doing this rather then convert the currency. But keep in mind that the balance in your account can change from day to day since it always gets converted with the daily exchange rate. But this are only minor changes (a few cents).
